Google unveils cutting-edge Pixel 9 series smartphones

Google has officially unveiled its latest Pixel 9 smartphone series.

The latest generation of smartphones and wearable devices is now available in Slovakia. Google is officially launching its latest Pixel 9 smartphone series, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones on the Slovak market. The new phone combines cutting-edge hardware, Gemini artificial intelligence models, and the Android operating system.

The manufacturer has unveiled three new phones: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. All are powered by Google’s all-new Tensor G4 chip, allowing users to get the most out of their phones. For the first time, the Pro model is available in two different sizes: Pixel 9 Pro (6.3“) and Pixel 9 Pro XL (6.8”). Apart from the display size and performance, the “Pro” series phones have the same specifications and features.

Both phones have the best and brightest Super Actua display currently available and also feature a new 42 MPx front camera, so users will be able to take sharper and clearer photos even in low light. They also have a new finish that gives the phones a luxurious feel, with a polished glass back and a satin-finished metal frame.

The Pixel 9 is 35% brighter than the Pixel 8 thanks to its 6.3″ display and has been rated the best display in its class. In terms of the camera, users get the same main and ultra-wide cameras as the Pro models. The ultra-wide camera is a huge upgrade from 12 MPx (Pixel 8) to 48 MPx (Pixel 9).

The phones run on the new Tensor G4 processor. It is Google’s most efficient processor to date and has been designed to be useful for everyday tasks such as opening apps or surfing the web. The Pixel 9 Pro also comes with Google One AI Premium, which gives users access to Gemini Advanced for one year at no additional charge.

The company has also added other AI features to help users take the perfect photo. With the Add Me feature, users will be able to take a group photo that includes everyone, including the photographer, without the need for a tripod or help from a stranger. The manufacturer has also improved the Panorama feature for more detailed shots, even in low light.

The Magic Editor can automatically reframe a photo, extend the background of a photo, and combine similar photos into one perfect group photo with the popular Best Take feature. Either this feature identifies the best expression of each person in the group or leaves the choice up to the user.

The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL are available for pre-order today starting at $799, $899, and $999. The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL will be available on August 22, 2024, and the Pixel 9 Pro will be available in September 2024. With every phone purchased, new users will receive YouTube Premium free for 3 months.

In addition, new Google One users will receive Google One AI Premium 2TB free for 6 months with the purchase of a Pixel 9. With Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL phones, new Google One AI Premium users will get one year free. The manufacturer also introduced Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones. They are equipped with a Tensor A1 processor that provides sound processing and artificial intelligence. The price is set at $249 in the US and €249 in Europe, and they will be available from September 26, 2024.

The Pixel Watch 3 is the biggest leap forward for the manufacturer’s top smartwatches. They offer an interesting design combined with better performance. They are available in two sizes, including a brand new 45 mm size. They offer comprehensive tools for monitoring fitness and recovery. They feature Loss of Pulse Detection, which could potentially save lives.

Both watch sizes, with a 41 mm display and a new larger 45 mm display, use Actua displays, which are brighter than previous models. They also simplify exercise and listen to your body. This is ensured by three new tools: Daily Readiness, Cardio Load, and Target Load.

With the Daily Readiness feature, an improved algorithm tracks and analyzes key biometric data related to the body’s recovery and provides users with information about how their body is ready for exercise each day. The Cardio Load feature helps track heart effort and intensity, and the Target Load feature provides personalized suggestions for exercise goals based on recent user data.

The Pixel Watch 3 gives new Fitbit Premium users 6 months of free access to the program so they can get the most out of their workouts with personalized guidance and insights. The watch is available for pre-order starting at $399 with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity. The new 45 mm watch is available starting at $449 with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity.
