Italy

Italy, officially the Italian Republic, is a country in Southern Europe on the Apennine Peninsula. In the north, it borders France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia. Within Italy lie two independent city-states: the Vatican and San Marino. Additionally, Italy includes the territory surrounded by Switzerland called Campione d’Italia.
